To be successful you will need to be tertiary qualified in the field of mechanical engineering or engineering science specializing in mechanical design plus several years experience. This experience must include design of enclosures for electronic circuits; design for use in harsh environments including submersion, vibration, shock, EMC and most of all significant experience in SolidWorks software.
