My client is a well established e-business solutions provider, with a 12 year track record of successful application and internet solution development They work in the NZ and Pacific Island government space, as well as with small business, charities, and community/sporting organisations. Services include e-business development, and customised software development.

Due to growth, and plans for further expansion, we seek an experienced developer to join the existing team. We are looking for expertise in ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, and SQL Server 2005. Experience using other Microsoft tools such as Sharepoint 2003 or 2007, Infopath or Groove Server would also be an advantage.

This role is completely hands on. You will need to be comfortable in a client facing environment, and flexible in your approach. Working out of Central Wellington offices, you will frequently be out on site with clients. You will gather requirements and create your own documentation. You will be involved in all stages of the solution, from business analysis to design, programming, testing, and delivering the final product.

The ideal candidate will have:

Significant experience in .Net development (guideline = 5-10 years)
Excellent customer service and communication skills - experience in client facing roles
Prior experience with SQL Server 2005
A mature approach and the ability to add value as a senior team member
Enthusiasm for both design and development.
