My client, a leading IT Solutions provider has an opening within their Wellington office. This is a great opportunity for a Technical Specialist with a strong Storage focus, to come on board and demonstrate your expertise to both the business and external customers alike.
 
Your areas of responsibility will consist of Operations, Storage Admin, Support and Problem Management; however the key focus will remain on Storage and Capacity.
 
Monitoring SAN devices, capacity management, configuration & upgrading SAN, documentation, and, system tuning & performance are all part of the puzzle with this role. You will also be completing complex server and network configurations, monitoring bandwidth use, and working with the Service Desk team to resolve complex issues.
 
I am looking for an overall technical generalist (Windows, possibly Unix) with 4-5+ years experience and a core strength in the storage arena (HP/IBM SAN).
