The Curriculum Teaching and Learning Division provide policy advice and implements initiatives to support excellence in teaching and to enable students to achieve their potential.

  • Do you enjoy policy development, strategy and programme design? 

We are looking a Senior Advisor with the skills to design strategies to ensure that:

 

  • all students make expected progress in line with literacy and Numeracy learning progressions in order to meet the demands of the curriculum, and
  • students not making progress have access to appropriate additional support 

The Senior Advisor Secondary Numeracy will be involved in policy development, strategy and programme design and lead and manage a range of projects at years seven to ten to improve outcomes for students with a particular focus on secondary numeracy, mathematics and statistics.

 

This is a fixed term position, and secondments would be welcome.

 

We will be looking for candidates with the followings skills and experience:

 

  • A sound knowledge of the education sector
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, written and oral communication skills
  • A flexible “can do” approach to challenging projects
