Look around you. Are you one of a number of Audit people with reducing amounts of work? Is that work getting a bit 'so last year?' Had a hankering to get into Corporate Finance and not had a chance yet?
Here we go! Floods of work mean that our client needs someone to join the team doing Due Diligence, Financial Modelling and Valuations work. If your response is, 'Due diligence? I do that every day in Audit!' then we should talk about this role.
The team is well established, well respected and as I say, very busy. This doesn't mean they work all hours, so don't go there. That is why we are hiring, to ensure that everyone still gets to enjoy the summer, including the partners.
If you are working in BAS compliance and not Audit, we still believe you might have the transitional skills there. Using spreadsheets a lot? Doing management accounting? Working with larger clients who have complex issues to deal with? Been involved in any Insolvency or shareholder disputes?
We expect that this role is going to suit people from a CA background, but if you have been in Finance or Banking it is worth a discussion if Corporate Finance is what you want to do.
