Working with the latest versions of .NET framework, you should have strong skills and knowledge with C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server.

A background in commercial software development is imperative; nice to have would be proven experience of analysis and design and working with users and stakeholders to ensure you build exactly what needs to be delivered.

You should have a Computer Science or related degree and solid understanding of the SDLC. Qualifications such as Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) and Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) would be awesome but even a willingness to study and complete is an advantage.
