Manager Electronic Security Systems

Systems & Infrastructure (SI) provides a range of strategies and services comprising Information & Technology, Facilities Management and Business Continuity Planning, that support the delivery of Corrections’ core business, and ensure the Department’s ability to maintain consistent service delivery regardless of external events and crises. The Group also provides the New Zealand Parole Board Administrative Support Services and Victims Support.
Reporting to the General Manager Systems & Infrastructure, the Manager Electronic Security Systems is responsible for identifying future security system needs, researching appropriate solutions and ensuring that integrated electronic security systems are implemented and maintained in prisons.
An in-depth technical knowledge and extensive experience in the specification, development and implementation of electronic security systems is required along with a demonstrable experience in managing technology delivery in a complex business environment
A tertiary qualification or diploma in electronics, electrical engineering, computing or similar relevant subject is desirable although a strong demonstrated record of excellent performance within the required areas could be considered an adequate substitute.
