An opportunity exists within a large and complex public sector organisation for an experienced operational policy analyst.  This is a fixed term contract until July 2010.
 
Our client is looking for someone with Justice sector experience, ideally knowledge of the community probation service.
 
This position would suit a person very experienced in operational policy process and development. Initially you will be responsible for documenting and writing changes to procedures and updating the operational manual.  You must have an eye for detail.
 
This is a busy environment and you will later become involved in some bigger tasks as new programmes get under way.  In this role you will be responsible for writing ministerial briefings and reports for senior management.  You will be someone who has a positive and can do attitude.
 
To be suitable for this role you will have a tertiary qualification, excellent written and oral communication skills and a good understanding of government processes.
