Your multi tasking ability will be pushed to the maximum here!  Each day will offer variety, challenge and the chance to be involved in a wide range of tasks.  Your input will be valued and this position is going to be essential to ensure the smooth running of buying and marketing activities.
 
The main focus will be to support the Book Buyer in their day to day activities to ensure maximum sales, profit and stockturn.  Other duties will include assisting with budgets and price strategies, co-ordination of events and promotional activities, planning of all advertising and marketing initiatives, reviewing competitor activity and assisting with the selection and management of suppliers.
 
What we are needing here is a committed, flexible and organised team player.  You will have a natural ability to pick up new systems quickly along with a good business sense.  An advanced level of Excel and PowerPoint will also be critical as the role involves a lot of analysis work as well as quality presentation preparation. 
 
If you have worked alongside a Buyer previously or have at least three years experience in a marketing position and understand how retail works then this could be your ideal next position!
