A reputable and progressive medium sized Christchurch chartered accountancy practice has a position immediately available for a qualified accountant.
 
This practice is committed to forming close one-to-one working relationships with each of its clients providing an extensive range of services including tax and audit, business services and other specialist services.
 
We are now looking to employ someone who wishes to make a career move in a growing practice with promotional opportunities.
 
Attributes we are seeking include;
 
· Qualified Accountant familiar with managing a team of professionals, familiar with delegation and review of work.
· Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in a CA office environment preferably in NZ.
· Aware of NZ tax rules and compliance obligations, or a willingness to commit time to learn this.
· Need to be self motivated to succeed, can work without supervision but can deliver to timetables.
· A professional report writer and able to communicate verbally.
· Strong problem solving skills and a pro-active nature.
 
Responsibilities of this position include;
 
· Being involved in leading a team, managing a portfolio of clients, managing work flow, productivity and fee preparation.
· Having an interest in insolvency work. Experience to date would be an advantage, but on the job support can be provided, for a person keen and willing to take up this challenge.
