My client is at the front line of defence simulation development for NZ as well as the  US.  We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with leadership qualities to be involved in the hands on design of new concepts including existing developments.

You will be responsible for Mechanical Engineers, Designers, and Technicians and for driving continuous improvement in relation to the Mechanical Engineering Function.
 
To be successful you will need to be tertiary qualified in the field of mechanical engineering or engineering science specializing in mechanical design plus several years experience.  This experience must include design of enclosures for electronic circuits; design for use in harsh environments including submersion, vibration, shock, EMC and most of all significant experience in SolidWorks software.
