Jones Business Solutions provides accounting, HR, and Property Management services to a range of clients.  After a busy year we are now looking for the right person to help deliver quality accounting administration to our small business customers.
 
We are looking for someone who:
  • Is confident, organised and flexible, and works well under pressure
  • Communicates effectively at all levels; both internally and externally
  • Has high work standards and integrity
  • Shows initiative and is able to work autonomously.
 
With these skills and abilities:
  • 5+ years experience in accounting administration or office management roles
  • Sound working knowledge of MYOB accounting products
  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced competence with Excel
  • Solid understanding of financial systems and accounting reporting (to Trial Balance stage)
  • IT savvy and competent with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Problem-solving capability.
 
The role includes:
  • Providing regular accounting administration on site for small business owners
  • Assisting with ad-hoc accounting work (year-end, new business start-up etc)
  • Undertaking project work as directed (Excel based).
 
The hours of work are flexible - we envisage 10-20 hours per week initially.
