AbacusBio are Australasian market leaders in agribusiness consulting and new business development.
The firm’s internationally recognised expertise in bio-science and agricultural technology is backed by specialised economic modelling, financial analysis and business management capabilities.

Demand for these services from forward-looking agricultural businesses provides an immediate opportunity for a high-calibre Agribusiness Analyst in the company’s expert consultancy team in Dunedin.

AbacusBio operates an end-to-end model for farm-business performance. This spans governance and operating structures, strategic goals, applied science and technology, and management practices. As part of that integrated framework, this role involves analysing strengths and constraints, identifying opportunities, presenting business plans and overseeing results.

The position combines on-farm and board-level input, and inter-relating with other professional advisors and investors. Hence, the position will appeal to a business-savvy individual with a strong client focus and a thorough grounding in pastoral production and specialised interest in economic and financial analysis.

Outstanding commercial acumen and client-engagement ability will be evident from results achieved over a period in an entrepreneurial, agribusiness consulting environment.

These attributes, and the ability to extract on-farm relevance from R&D advances, will be underpinned by a good degree in agribusiness or farm management, or a related field.

AbacusBio is focussed on growing its consulting business through its relationships with its clients, and growing its involvement in new ventures.
