 As a Civil Design Engineer you will be accountable for the technical adequacy of designs and documentation you prepare or countersign whilst ensuring agreed project requirements are consistently achieved.
 
You will be required to undertake the following duties:-
 
  • Assist in the design and structural analysis process of:
    • Multi-storey residential buildings.
    • Educational Facilities.
    • Industrial Warehouses.
    • Commercial and Office Buildings.
  • General structural analysis and design.
  • Prepare engineering documents incorporating calculations, reports and technical drawings.
  • Check and verify detailed drawings prepared by draftspersons.
  • Carry out periodic site inspections on designed projects to ensure construction follows design intent.
 
Here is what you can offer:
 
  • 5 years  experience in a similar role and have the ability to lead by example
  • Possess a high level of technical experience in AutoCAD, 12D, PC Drains, PC
  • Sewer, Drains, Advanced Road Design and Autotrack.
  • A sound knowledge of the relevant Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia.
  • Highly motivated (swift promotions are a trait of this company)
