We have a fantastic opportunity within our e-Learning Team.  The position offers the opportunity to practice leadership in research and evaluation in a dynamic policy and operational environment.

In overseeing the e-learning portfolio of research and evaluation, you will be responsible for leading and participating in the development and commissioning of a programme of research and evaluation which supports the goals for e-learning outlined in Enabling the 21^st Century Learner: An e-learning Action Plan for Schools 2006-2010 and the implementation of the recently developed e-Learning research framework.

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Considerable expertise in evaluation and research design and development
• Experience in evaluation and research contract management
• A commitment to evaluation and research utilisation
• An ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team

In this role you will work closely with the Ministry’s Research team.  An understanding of e-learning and/or ICTs in the education environment would be an advantage.  We will be looking to appoint at either a senior or analyst level.
