Your financial management skills are impressive, so is your willingness to lead the provision of financial management leadership, advice and support to its District Courts Business Unit. The District Courts Business Unit is the largest business unit within the Ministry of Justice and is responsible for the provision of District Courts services throughout the country, administers legislation and provides services to contribute to safer communities and a more effective justice system.
You’ll be responsible for the providing financial management leadership and disciplines to the District Courts leadership team, the management and oversight of a significant budget, .You’ll provide quality strategic financial advice and support, co-ordinating the production of accurate costing information, budgets, forecasts and variance reporting and analysis.. In addition you’ll provide leadership and support to the Higher Courts Business Unit on financial management.
You’ll lead a team of three staff providing mentoring and guidance bringing new ideas and innovation. You’ll be working closely with Regional Finance Managers, Corporate Finance and other finance managers.
You’ll have the ability to communicate well and establish and maintain relationships across the Ministry at all levels.
You’ll need to be CA qualified with demonstrated experience in financial management with experience in the Government sector an advantage.
