Our CBD based client requires a hands on Commercial Manager with a bit of spunk! This is a fixed term contract of six months. This role is a mixture of financial and management accounting and you will be reporting to the Audit Team Leader.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Core financial reporting
- Commercial finance and decision support
- Maintaining internal controls and key business processes
- Providing leadership to the accounting function
- Controlling the business assets, profit and cash flow in accordance with Company policies and all statutory and legal requirements
- Driving business performance
To be successful you will need to have completed a Bachelor of commerce degree and preferably be CA or CPA qualified. Previous experience in accounting and commercial experience in a customer driven environment are essential. You will be familiar with SAP and possess advanced Excel skills as well as be able to implement information systems. The ability to analyse and rationalise financial and management reports and information is key to your success in this role.
You will be an effectively communicator at all levels with the skills and ability to develop and lead a team.
