Based near the Auckland Airport, we have a position available for an Accounts Administrator that would suit a candidate who is currently completing an accounts or business course or has a 1-2 years experience in an Accounts environment.
You will work closely with and take direction from the Accounts Manager. 
 
Your principle duties will include:
  • Daily bank transaction – Accounts Payable and Receivable.
  • FX exchange rates daily updates.
  • Data entry of payable invoices.
  • Finalise Accounts Payable reconciliations.
  • Collecting funds from local debtors.
  • Accounts filing.
  • Daily sorting and distribution of mail.
  • Ordering of office and stores supplies.
  • Assist with organising work functions.
  • Other administrative duties as requested by Accounting Manager.
 
To succeed in this role you will need these Qualifications/Licences:
  • Achieved or currently completing qualifications in Diploma in Business or similar (Desirable)
  • 1-2 years experience in Accounts or Administration environment. (Desirable)
  • Current Car licence.
 
Desirable skills & Knowledge include:
 
  • Typing speed over 40 w.p.m. and maintain over 95% accuracy rate.
  • Ability to build good business relationships with all customers.
  • Possess good customer service skills and qualities.
  • Display a mature manner when dealing with customers, peers and your managers.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Ability to clearly explain any questions requiring clarification to clients, peers and managers.
  • Display a clean and tidy personal presentation and professional manner at all times.
  • Be able to create, edit and save professional business documents in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Excel to create accounting reports and formulas.
  • Ability to write clearly for business purposes.
  • Possess high integrity and a dependable nature.
